WERUCHE OPIA STARS IN ‘I MAY DESTROY YOU’

A new drama has launched on the BBC this week – written and directed by Michaela Coel and starring the magnificent Weruche Opia as ‘Terry’ and the brilliant Andi Osho plays therapist, ‘Carrie’.  This hard-hitting series focuses on sexual assault of three women and all the trauma that comes with it.  Weruche was interviewed by The Standard online regarding the show and said: “We don’t see Black leads that much, and I think this is the beginning of a change to see different realities and different walks of life to be reflected on television”.  You don’t want to miss this, check it out on iPlayer.
